The Last Seed
A film about the global threats to humanity’s most vital resource
Movie Stills of the full-length documentary film, sponsored by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in association with the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa, Biowatch South Africa, and PELUM Tanzania.
The film focuses on broad themes relating to the state of food and agriculture in Africa in the twenty-first century. Placing the struggle over the control of seed at the centre, it explains the processes that have led to this moment in human history and what it would take to interact with the planet in a way that does not threaten the very basis of life on earth.

150. Geburtstag von Rosa Luxemburg
Ihren Geburtstag feiern wir! Langsam legen wir ihr Werk frei, wir verfolgen Spuren ihres Lebens und wie sich ihr Bild in der Geschichte änderte, mit viel Debatte, Live-Talks, neu entdeckten Briefen, Reportagen und künstlerischen Beiträgen. Den pandemischen Umständen entsprechend wurde das zweitägige Programm nur digital ausgestrahlt.

Eröffnung des Neubaus am 28. Oktober 2020
Der Neubau der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung an der Straße der Pariser Kommune 8A in Berlin wird feierlich eröffnet (Mit wenigen Gästen und unter Pandemie-bedingten Einschränkungen).
